Jason Coward

RBL National Chair

Jason Coward

Jason is the National Chair of the Royal British Legion, having been elected to the role in May 2022. He has been on the Trustee board since 2014 and was Chair of the Membership Council from 2018 to 2022. Jason has also served as Chair of Poppyscotland and was a Trustee of the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire from 2016 onwards.

Jason’s links to the Legion date back to his grandmothers who lost family members in World War One and his son James served in the Fusiliers for almost a decade, so he also has insight into life into the modern military and the challenges facing those who leave.

Jason’s professional career is as a marketer, and he has worked with a number of UK and global brands including News Corporation, Virgin, Orange, Volvo and Nissan across his 30 year career.

Outside work and the Legion, his interests include travel, theatre, food, fitness and rugby.
