South Wales Gay Men's Chorus

South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus is a vibrant, inclusive choir based in Cardiff. They bring together people who love to sing, no matter their musical background. Their mission is to share joy through music, foster community, and support LGBTQ+ and wider community causes.

Whether performing at local events or collaborating with organisations, they create harmony in every sense of the word. The South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus was founded in 2008 to provide a much-needed gay choir for the region.

Since then, it has grown into a respected part of Cardiff and South Wales’ LGBTQ+ community, performing at national and international festivals and achieving great success. The choir embraces a wide range of music - from traditional male voice choir pieces, to show tunes and modern hits - while fostering a friendly and inclusive environment under the leadership of Music Director, Christopher Fossey.
